Damakheda - Kabeer Panth Aashram

Damakheda is a pilgrimage center of Kabirpantis near Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh and in district Balodabazar – Bhatapara. It is a small village situated 10 km from Simga on Raipur-Bilaspur road. It is considered to be the biggest center of faith of Kabirpantis. Devotees from all over the world come here to visit.

It is believed that 100 years ago, Kabir Math was established here by Guru Agardas Swami, 12th Guru of Kabirpanth. Kabir hut and building have been constructed near the tomb. In these poems, couplets and chaupai etc. are written very artistically.
